DEAN, Charles, W. - Putnam

Charles W. Dean, 70, died at the home southeast of here Monday afternoon. He was born January 19, 1866 in Putnam Co., a son of Jesse and Matilda Dean. He was married to Capitola Jefferies, April 9, 1890. She died January 21, 1916. Surviving are three children; Mrs. Leo Radford of near Whitesville, Mrs. Ruth Jones of Jeffersonville and Mrs. Chauncy Sutherlin of Roachdale, four brothers; Harve, Joe, Clay, and Frank all of near here. One sister, Mrs. Clara Brown of Danville and six grandchildren also survive.
